Important Update for Dakota County Residents
Attention to all our Dakota County residential recycling customers: Dakota County Ordinance 110 now mandates weekly recycling effective January 1, 2022. In alignment with this ordinance, as of April 1st, 2022, DSI has transitioned all residential customers to weekly recycling (with exceptions in some rural Dakota County locations where the service remains every other week). Please note that this county-mandated change in recycling service frequency will be reflected in your recurring invoice during the upcoming billing cycle. We appreciate your cooperation in Recycle Well by placing only acceptable items in your recycling cart, as items like plastic bags, non-recyclable plastics, styrofoam, and general garbage may incur additional charges to your account if placed in the recycling cart.
